Nicholas Per Huffeldt, Ph.D.

Principal Investigator

Nicholas is a Senior Scientist at the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources and a Visiting Research Fellow in the Migration Group at Lund University, SE. Before his current position he was a MSCA Individual Fellow at Lund Unversity; the Crown Prince Frederik Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow at the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources in collaboration with the University of Groningen, NL; and a Postdocoral Researcher at Aarhus University, DK. He recieved his Ph.D. from Wake Forest University, US and his M.Sc. from the University of Copenhagen, DK.

Mael is working on understanding the diet of white-tailed eagle and peregrine falcon chicks in South Greenland using DNA metabarcoding. He is enrolled at the University of Neuchâtel, CH
