Arctic Avian Biology
Lab

About

The Arctic Avian Biology Lab is the research group of Nicholas P. Huffeldt, Ph.D. and is based in Nuuk, Greenland. The main focus of the lab is to elucidate the interplay among individuals, their populations, and the environment. We also strive to understand the ecological significance and conservation value of behavior and physiology.

We use an integrative approach to address these aims, and we value curiosity-driven science and research with immediate societal implications. We use primarily birds, but are open to work on other taxa that allow us to gain insights into our research aims and provide robust policy advice.
